Holy.  Freakin’. Cow.   Last month, I hoped (and knew) that I’d reach my $1,000 eHow earnings in a single month.  I just didn’t realize that I’d surpass it by so far.  So this is it, folks… this is my last earnings update (although I will continue to write the blog).  Last month, my earnings were $961.01.   My earnings for the month of March, 2009, are $1400.05.  Here’s a screen shot of my payment from eHow (click to see a larger version in another window).

It’s just amazing how stumbling upon eHow a little over four months ago, and registering on a whim has evolved into a nice chunk of change each month.    Last month, someone contacted me and asked simply, “How do you do it?”   Honestly, it’s quite simple.   All my life, I’ve been very observant (but isn’t every writer?), and I just used that at eHow.  I pay attention to everything I see, and everything I read.  Some of the techniques I use I learned from things that were hinted at in the forums, and other things I learned by… well, just figuring things out by myself.  I might have a bit of an “unfair” advantage (which isn’t really unfair).  I’ve been writing and blogging online for a few years now, so I understand the difference between writing and writing online.
