I just got a package in the mail from Remi at one of the eHow.com sister sites.   I knew it was on its way, but I didn’t know that a simple shirt with a single word on it would make me smile so broadly.   

From April-June 2009, the site had a contest, and the top two winners won a MacBook Pro and a Kindle 2, respectively.   I started out the contest very strong, but ended up writing not a single article in the month of June, due to time-crunching personal commitments.   Overall, though, I ended up performing pretty well, with over 150 articles in the two months that I actively particpated in the contest.   A lot of those articles have ended up on eHow, and because of the strong reputation of eHow, they are earning me a very nice chunk of income.

I got an email a week or so ago, telling me that I’d accomplished quite a bit, and they wanted to send me a shirt.  As I said, the shirt just arrived, and I was beaming the moment I saw the shirt.  (Also included in the package was a ball point pen, which I failed to get a photo of.)
