The Forums at eHow
I just found out that there’s forums at eHow. I asked a fellow writer a question, via eHow’s private message interface (which is like private emails, not instant messaging), and she didn’t know how to answer my question. Instead, she suggested that I “dig around in the forums” to find out what I needed to know. Forums! Huh. I never knew. She did add one nugget of advice, though:
“Don’t waste too much time in the forums. A lot of people spend most of their day in there… but you’ll find they don’t earn very much. LOL The people who earn a lot prefer to spend their days writing articles. LOL (again)”
So far, I’ve tried to keep a tight rein on it, checking the forums (I mainly “hang out” in the “Chatter” forum) no more than thirty minutes total per day. It only makes sense that if you spend time working on articles, the income will reflect it. Same as with anything, I guess. The time you spend goofing off or working is reflected in your end product, no matter what that end product is.
